is to advise you, on behalf of K.K. SOLPOWER JAPAN (here in called
“We”), |

we are a ligitimate registrant of the trade-mark “SOLPOWER” with
the Patent Office of Japan under the registration No. 2444114
covering chemicals & the related items classified as
“category-one”, and the registration No. 4384315 covering fuel
additives, liquid fuels, gaseous fuels, industrial oils, industrial
fats, solid fuels, wax, shoe-oils, plant-protection oils, lamp-wicks
& candles classified as “categry-four”. |

2) |
that
your use of “SOLPOWER” in your marketing literature covering
R-SP34E for air-conditioning oil, automotive air-conditioning
refrigerant & air-condition oil conditioner, and on any
particular product e.g. “SOLPOWER R-SP34E” for cylinder is to
infringe on our rights to the trade-mark “SOLPOWER”, causing
confusion in the market over the origin of the products.

Above
being the case, we request that the representation “SOLPOWER” in
wording be pulled off your marketing literature as well as
brand-name for any of your products, effective immediately, and that
you let us have your reply within 10(ten) days of receipt of this
notice.
Kindly note that we will take up a legal action in the event that
your response has not reached us in time or that you are not dealing
with the case responsibly. |
